Philip Castle Obituary

Philip Wayne Castle, 67, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a graduate of Ketron High School. Wayne worked at Eastman Chemical Company and attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved camping. Wayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Faye Castle.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Castle; his children, Justin Castle and wife Jessi, Brad Castle, Aaron Castle, and Katie Castle; three grandchildren, Haden, Abby, and Bella Castle; two sisters, Teresa Carr and husband Darrell, Donna Hutchins and husband Philip; brother, Glenn Castle; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Daniel Sutherland officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
