Dr. R. Wade Powers, President at Northeast State for 10 years passed away on June 11, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary Beth Powers, sons, Dennis (Sharon) Powers of Gallatin, TN; Randy (Vicki) Powers of Nashville, TN and daughter Katie (Ed) Herrick of Gallatin, TN. Funeral Services will be held at the Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene June 15, 2023 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens in Gallatin, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast State scholarship fund.
