KINGSPORT - Ralph D. Moore, 90, of Kingsport entered his eternal home on Monday, April 3, 2023. Ralph served his country in the US Army and served as a Senior Vice Commander of the Patton Crosswhite post #6975 Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America. He retired from Southern Refrigeration after over 30 years of service. His two favorite past times were golfing and driving.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley E. Moore; parents; brothers, Corbett, Jack, and Lawrence Moore; sister, Dorothy Cross.
Survivors include his son, Mitch Moore and wife Donna; daughter, Karen Rhymer and husband Butch; granddaughters, Kaitlin Rhymer and Alexis Shepherd; great-granddaughter, Billie Shepherd; step- daughters, Sandra Archer and husband Gary, Teresa Gray and husband Steve; along with a host of friends and extended family.
A military graveside will be conducted at 12pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at East Lawn Memorial Park with honors conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45am.
