Randy Wright Obituary
Randy Harold Wright, age 68, went to be with Jesus on Friday, February 16, 2024. He was a member of Choptack Baptist Church. Randy loved fishing, hunting, cracking walnuts, "wheeling and dealing", and spending time with his family. Randy was saved when he was 22 years old and everyone that knew him, knew he loved the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Thelma Palmer; parents, Harold and Vivian Wright; brother, Greg Wright.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mae Wright; daughter, Beverly Mallory and husband, Philip of Kingsport; son, Scott Gaby of Morristown; grandchildren, Tierra Johnson and fiancé, Josh of Kingsport, Hannah Mullins and fiancé, Tyler of Kingsport; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Grace, Luke, and Maddie; sisters, Pam Pratt of Church Hill, Deanna Clark and husband, Joel of Kingsport; brother, Tim Wright of Kingsport; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones; furbaby, Susie.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Rachael Carter NP for the wonderful care she provided.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 7pm with Pastor Keith Osborne officiating. The burial will be held at 1pm on Friday at Choptack Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.christiansells.com
