I had the privilege to work with Rhonda when I was a medical student. She was always so kind, had a great sense of humor, and helped teach us even when it was not her job. She will be greatly missed.

Rhonda...was one of the most genuine people I've ever known. I had the pleasure of calling her my sister in law for 20 years. She always welcomed me with open arms and that beautiful smile. A devoted, loving Mother, friend and sister in law. She adored her children to no end. Rhonda was always smiling, laughing and lifting others up, even when she needed it herself. Selfless and Genuine come to mind when I think of her. Rest in eternal peace my sister. You're absence will be felt by so many. Give Allen a big hug for me sis. I Love you Always.

To Rhonda... you have meant so much to me. You have made the biggest impact on my life and I wish I had let you known while you were here. You could always tell when someone was having a hard day and you would make it your job to fix it. Every patient we have adores you and asks for you. When someone asks for something that they aren't allowed to eat... im gonna slip it to them, lol, just like you did. I'm gonna try my best to fix their heart as well as their body, just like you did. You were Miss Congeniality here at Holston Valley. None of us could help but love you. You were the light in every room. I remember when you showed up with a bottle of my favorite perfume as a gift and I asked why... you said you were just thinking of me. You told me I gave the best hugs... and it was only because I was hugging YOU that I squeezed hard. You made a difference in this world. Our tiny dialysis family will NEVER let you be forgotten. You were the Angel placed on this earth to help guide and comfort us lost ones. WE love you more than anyone can imagine.

To the children and their significant others.
I loved Rhonda so very much. She brought joy with her just by entering a room. I miss coming in to work and knowing she was there before me just by the sweet smell of her perfume. Even during difficult days, she had a smile on her face. I worked with Rhonda for 2 years, here, at the dialysis unit at Holston Valley. And I knew her for 2 years before when I worked in ICU. My heart is breaking knowing that I will not see her smile here on this earth. But, I believe one day, we will all see her in heaven. She spoke often of her faith in God. She is missed , but will always be loved and held in our memories.

I have been a nurse colleague and friend of Rhonda´s since 2003. Her kindness and compassion has been incomparable. She has loved with her entire being, just as Christ has loved. She has deserved so much more than life gave her. Rest in peace, my beautiful friend. You now rest in the ever-loving arms of God.
