Robert Lane Carter, known to many as "Bob," peacefully went to be with the Lord at his home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. A visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Kingsport with funeral service to follow. A military graveside will be held at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park Friday, March 14, 2025 at 3pm, those wishing to attend are asked to arrive by 2:50 pm.
