Robert "Bob" Hartman

December 5, 2024

JONESBOROUGH - Robert "Bob" Hartman, age 63, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the James H Quillen VA Medical Center due to complications of a brain tumor.

Bob grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee and graduated from Dobbins Bennet high school. He served in the US NAVY for 8 years. Bob would later graduate from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology with an associate's degree in nursing. He worked as an LPN in Kingsport.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sharon Hartman.

Bob is survived by his husband of nearly 14 years, Lawney Baldwin; three stepchildren, Ellen, Carolyn, and Lorance; two grandchildren, Alexander and William; his brother, Keith Hartman and his wife, Lisa; and numerous friends, extended family, and wonderful neighbors.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the caring staff and medical professions at the VA medical center for their exceptional care.

Committal Service and Interment will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024, 2:00 PM at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Mountain Home, Tennessee with military honors to be rendered by the Navy Honor Guard.
