In lieu of flowers the family asks that gifts be directed as donations to the Kingsport Public Library or Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium.

Rob walked a path full of adventure and good intent. Born in Houston, TX on Thursday, May 14th, 1985. He was a much anticipated and cherished son and grandson. He spent most of his childhood and adolescence in western Colorado where many days were spent outdoors, family expeditions were filled with mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, hiking, swimming and skateboarding. His prowess at snowboarding was one of his athletic points of pride. He was also often recognized for his intelligence. He excelled academically and even at a young age was inventing products for the good of the world. As a young adult he moved to eastern Tennessee where he met his partner of many years, Yolize, and had his son. Rob was an avid reader of any book and had a hunger for knowledge. His intellect, and natural problem-solving ability, was a skill often relied upon in his career as lead installer for Workspace Interiors. His kindness and generosity were obvious in the care he gave his many rescued pets. Rob was a philosopher in his own right and offered guidance, counseling, and help to many friends and fellow humans. He spent much of his free time bicycling, boating, swimming and gaming with his family. He is missed tremendously.

"I existed from all eternity and behold, I am here; and I shall exist till the end of time, for my being has no end." -Khalil Gibran
