CHURCH HILL – Rose Mary (Smith) Ellis, went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness.
She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Rose Mary loved gardening, cooking for and spending time with her family.
Rose Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Eugene Bellamy; her first husband Bobby Eugene Smith; and one granddaughter Danielle Nicole Bishop.
Rose Mary is survived by her husband, Phillip Ellis; Daughter Elisa Jarvi and husband Paul; son, Daniel Smith (Kim); special granddaughter, Danna Smith; stepdaughter, Rebecca Yarosh and husband Brian, stepson; Jonathan Ellis and wife Aimey; step grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, Rowan, and Karissa Yarosh, and Lily and Arwen Ellis; three brothers; Tommy Bellamy (Earline), Francis "Bud" Bellamy, Leo "Bab" Bellamy; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Craig Needham officiating. A graveside service will follow at Church Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
