CHURCH HILL - Ruby Nell Haynes 86, of Church Hill went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Kingsport to the late Hopkins "Hop" and Rosa Bell. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family and friends. Ruby was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Haynes; son, David Glen Haynes; sisters, Ada Boatright and Ella Mae Grepke.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen England, Vicki McConnell, and Babara Foulk and husband David; son, David L. Haynes and wife Cindi; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; brother, Cecil Bell and wife Phyllis; along with a host of friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, February, 27, 2025 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Billy Linkous officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Friday, February 28, 2025 at East lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50pm.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedysis Hospice and Dr. Carroll for their loving care.

Our Heart is broken.Heaven gained another Angel.Now she,s resting in Loving Arms of Jesus.With her Partner and all her family and loves ones and friends.My Prayers are with all the family.I know when i Married into the family.Another David.Always made me feel Loved and many memories being around her and David.Their faith in Lord.Walking streets together.I have many memories.Those,s memories will always be in my Heart.Love Ruby and David and their family.I know that one we will see our Love ones.Promise Lord gave us.My Prayers are with all the family.Prayers of comfort always.Love all of you.
