June 21, 1948 - September 10, 2023
WOODWAY, VA - Sam Edward Thomas, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peaceably at his home in Woodway on September 10, 2023 at the age of 75.
He is survived by his loving wife Cindy of 54 years of a very blessed marriage. His son Eric Thomas and wife Toi, daughter April Stewart and husband Shane, grandchildren Jacob, Michah, and Jaydan Stewart, one sister Virginia Yeary and husband Larry, and many other close relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Mullins-Sturgill Funeral Home on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00pm with Rev. Rusty Fitzpatrick officiating. Special music will be provided by Kim Cress.
His interment will be in Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, it will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Mullins-Sturgill Funeral Home by 12:30pm depart in procession to the cemetery.
Family will serve as the pallbearers.
