NASHVILLE - Shannon Wayne Marshall, 40, of Nashville, TN passed unexpectedly on Sunday, August 6 in Mission, KS. Shannon was born and raised in Kingsport and was a graduate of Sullivan South High School in 2000. He leaves behind a wife Amy and son Kaiden of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Wright and Eric of Fall Branch, father GW Marshall of Kingsport, sister Ashley Housewright and Ben of Church Hill, and many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Shannon was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents Clyde and Edith Roller, and Herman and Wanda Marshall, as well as one uncle, Alan Marshall.
Shannon was a welding fabricator in Nashville, and he enjoyed playing Frisbee Golf with his son and friends in his spare time. There will be a celebration of his life held on his birthday, August 27 at Borden Park in Kingsport from 2-4 pm. Bring your golf discs and stories of Shannon to share with family and friends. Shannon was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be missed by all.
