KINGSPORT - Brother, best friend, ally, protector, and comic, Steven Earl Barker, 68, passed away March 1st 2023 after lengthy stay in ICU at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport TN. He was preceded in death by grandparents Logan and Emma Rogers, parents Earl and Edith Barker, sister Margaret Annie Heaton Bumgarner. Survivors: siblings; Judy Skeens, Debbie Barker brothers Roger Barker, Brian Barker of Kingsport. Children: Brandon B., Steve S., Naomi B., Christina S., Billy S., Shannon S., and Sonnie B. Plus Grandchildren. Special friend: Norma S. Steven married early in life twice but divorced; never remarried or established common law or desired to. Steve's parents, siblings, and children were his heart and home. Please keep the Barker family and friends in prayer. Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home will be serving.
