SULLIVAN COUNTY - Sula Mae (Larkey) Nowell, 83, Sullivan County, TN, passed away, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Sula was born on May 27, 1940, in Sullivan County, TN, to the late Charles S. Larkey, and Virgie Hart Larkey.
Sula worked for Group Health Association DC for over 20 years, and then worked for Prudential Insurance Co., Washington DC.
Sula was a wonderful person who blessed all who knew her. Those who touched our lives will stay in our hearts forever. Sula, greatly loved, deeply missed, loving you forever.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, John Larkey, and several cousins.
It was Sula's wish to be cremated; a celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.

My wonderful Sister SULA, the moment your heart stopped mine changed forever. You left your blueprint on my mind , your handprint on my soul. If I could walk up to heaven I would bring you home again. I loved you your whole life and I will miss you for the rest of mine. Your brother, John Larkey. I will never be the same without YOU ! Your life gave me a purpose to go on. Thank you for being my sister I could have never asked for a better sister. God choice a great one in you. The BEST !!!!
