Susan "Susie" Linkous June 27, 2024
KINGSPORT - Susan "Susie" Linkous, 71, of Kingsport, died Thursday night, June 27, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Kingsport, she had resided in Carters Valley from 1976-2019 before returning to Kingsport. Susie was a graduate of Sullivan Central High School. She was a homemaker and strong in her faith.
Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Linkous; and parents, Howard and Margaret Bussey.
Survivors include her son, Denny Linkous and wife, Michelle; special companion, "Macy;" brother, Jeff Bussey; and many special friends.
It was Susie's wish to be cremated and buried beside her husband. No formal services at this time.

I knew Dennis and Susie from work and after Susie's passing from church. Susie was always such a sweet and caring person. She would always meet you with a smile and a word of encouragement. Denny was the apple of her eye and they loved one another dearly. The world needs more Susie Linkous's. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends and loved ones.
