Susan S. Palmer passed away at American House on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Per her wishes there will be no formal services or visitation.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport is serving the Palmer family.

Since there's not an obituary on here, I'm going to write one. I met Susan Palmer back in 2021. I was doing a grocery delivery to her home. I remember vividly having a really horrible morning before that delivery, and by the time I got to her home and knocked on her door, she saw that I was about to cry and she welcomed me in as I brought her groceries inside. She wanted me to sit down for a while and tell her what was going on, so I did. She was one of the kindest people I've ever met. She had the sweetest dog who I know must be missing her right now. She's someone I'll never forget because she gave me comfort and words of wisdom on what had been a really hard day. I know you're in Heaven now where everything is beautiful and there's much peace to be had. I will never forget how kind you were to me.
