Terisa Stapleton Powers September 22, 2024

GRAY - Terisa Stapleton Powers, 71, of Gray, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 after many years of declining health.

Terisa is preceded in death by her husband, James (Pat) Powers; son, Jesse Powers; parents, Frank and Clara Jean (Stamper) Stapleton; and brothers, Kenney Stapleton and Randall Stapleton.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Crimson Powers; sisters, Shirley Hickman, Susan Calhoun, and Linda Castle; sister-in-law, Julia Stapleton; several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins; and life-long friend, Norene Hughes.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, Tennessee, on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A graveside will follow at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2630 TN-75, in Blountville, Tennessee.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Warren Jones for his outstanding care over many years and to Amedisys Hospice Care.
