Terry Dickenson Obituary
BIG STONE GAP, VA - Terry Lynn Dickenson, 60, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center.
He was a former mechanic for Penn Va. Resources and Southern Well Services. Also, he worked for Enervest Oil and Gas, based in Texas. Terry was a farmer and beef producer, practically his whole life. He loved target shooting. Terry attended East Stone Gap United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Ruby (Bledsoe) Dickenson; uncles, Cecil Dickenson and Alfred Dickenson, John Bledsoe, and James Bledsoe; and aunts, Helen Maness and Grace Dickenson Roach.
Surviving are his wife, Kelly Dickenson; brother, Steven Dickenson (Laura), Big Stone Gap; nephew, David Dickenson (Alyssa); great nephew, John Dickenson; mother and father-in-law, Joe Evans and Judy Bowden; and his canine companion, "Bill."
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Dickenson Family Cemetery, Maples Gap Road, Big Stone Gap, with Rev. James Holcomb officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
