Thomas Gannaway Obituary

KINGSPORT - Tom Gannaway, 81, of Kingsport, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Before moving back from California, Tom and his late wife, Marilyn, owned and operated a uniform sales business in Sacramento and had lived in Pollock Pines and Corning, CA.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Jane Gannaway and his wife, Marilyn.

Survivors include sons, Jonathan Gannaway and wife Charlotte, Thomas Gannaway III and wife Delyse, Rob Brownfield and wife Marianne and Michael Brownfield; daughter, Kari Brownfield; grandchildren, McNamara "Mac" Gannaway, Kevin McNary and wife Janelle, Austin Brownfield, Bailey Annen and husband Jeremy, Ashley David and husband Jake, Michael Brownfield, Allie Hall, Andrew Gannaway, Jackson Gannaway and Julie Gannaway; sisters, Suzanne G. Reed and Hester Jane Gannaway; brother, Jack Gannaway and wife, Christie ; and several nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
