Thomas "Tommy" A. Williams

KINGSPORT - Thomas "Tommy" A. Williams, 87, of Kingsport, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at Holston Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

He was born July 13, 1938, in Kingsport, to the late Robert and Pearl Williams.

Tommy retired from Holston Defense Corporation following thirty-six years of service.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

Tommy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his yard.

He was a Christian and attended the Baptist church.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Jones Williams; son, Brad Williams; sisters, Mildred Quillen and Cleo Taylor; brother, Virgil Williams.

Those left to cherish Tommy's memory are his sisters, Brenda Chase, Susie Jones, and Joyce Collins; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted Tuesday, February 24, at 2:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park, With pastor David Hodges officiating.
