Wesley Lewis Parker Jr., 59, passed away on September 1, 2025, in Longview, Texas. Born on February 15, 1966, in Pontiac, Michigan, Wesley lived a life marked by love for his family, a strong work ethic, and an infectious sense of humor.
He was the beloved son of Delfina Trevino and Wesley Lewis Parker Sr., who preceded him in death. Wesley carried their memory with him throughout his life and honored them through his devotion to family and faith.
Wesley is survived by his cherished daughter, Selina Womack; his treasured grandchildren, Kingston, Kaliyah, Kailani, and Brandon; his siblings, Melva, Roy, and Mary; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and loved ones who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
A man of deep faith and enduring spirit, Wesley was known for being hardworking and god-fearing. He found joy in simple pleasures—playing word search games, listening to music, sharing stories from his life with his daughter, and watching his grandchildren grow. His love for conversation made him a natural storyteller, always ready with a tale that could bring laughter or reflection.
To those who knew him best, Wesley was more than just a father or grandfather—he was a loving uncle, brother, cousin, and friend. His playful nature earned him the affectionate title of “big goofball,” a reminder of the lightheartedness he brought into every room.
