ST. PETE BEACH, FL - Mr. William Stark Shaw, Jr. age 71, of St. Pete Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Suncoast Hospice. He was born on September 4, 1951, a son of the late William Stark and Elizabeth (Zuprod) Shaw. He graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Business Major in 1978 and became a Real Estate Agent in Florida. He was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Kingsport, Tennessee, and enjoyed golfing, and walking the beach of St. Pete.
He is survived by one sister, Susan Sharpe and her husband Jesse R. Sharpe, Jr. of Kingsport, Tennessee; two nieces, Suzanne Sharpe of Johnson City, Tennessee, Sally E. Salmons and husband Mark Ray of Leander, Texas, one nephew, Mark Andrew Sharpe of Knoxville, Tennessee, along with several cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Ann Shaw.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Cave City Cemetery, with interment to follow. Father Joel Rogers will officiate the service.
Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Shaw and his family at this time.
