Ann Brady Obituary
Ann Marie (Casciano) Brady, 80, of Wallingford, died Saturday, January 18, 2025 at MidState Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Connor Brady.
Ann Marie was born in Scranton, PA, July 25, 1944, a daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred (Murray) Casciano. She moved to Wallingford in 1960 and was employed as an Xray technician. She married the love of her life, Robert, on October 17, 1970. Once her children were born, she stayed home to raise them. She later returned to work once her children were grown. Before her retirement, she was employed by The Franciscan Home as a companion and homemaker.
Ann Marie's love of family was evident to anyone who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother and a doting grandmother. She attended many of her grandchildren's school concerts, dance recitals, baseball games, boy scouting events, field hockey games, band competitions and never missed a family birthday party. Her humor and caring nature lifted the spirits of all who encountered her. Ann Marie also enjoyed spending time at the Wallingford Senior Center and met some wonderful friends who she really enjoyed. Ann Marie was also a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.
Ann Marie is survived by her daughter, Katherine Nunn and her husband, Thomas of Southington; her son, Robert Brady and his wife, Erika also of Southington; her grandchildren, Rebecca Nunn, Emelie Brady, Timothy Nunn, Lauren Brady and Rosalee Brady. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Gertrude Brady; her brother-in-law, James Brady; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Nicole Brady; her brother, Anthony Casciano; her sister, Sr. Bernadette (Grace Ann) Casciano; and most recently her sister-in-law, Ann Marie Casciano.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford, Wednesday, Jan. 22nd, from 4 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30am, directly at Most Holy Trinity Church, 87 N. Colony St., Wallingford. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
Her children would like to thank the staff at Midstate Medical Center, Pavillion E, for their exceptional care of Ann Marie in her final days.
