Anna Bishop Obituary

Anna Belle Bishop, age 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father Sunday, January 5, 2025. Mrs. Bishop was born July 31, 1943, in New Sailsbury Indiana, to the late Cephus and Sybill "Frederick" Chinn. Mrs. Bishop was very strong in her faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed music, reading, cooking and being outside in nature.
Among those who preceded her in death include her husband, James Larry Bishop Sr. and her son, James Larry Bishop Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Marty Bishop (Vicky) and Erica Zimlich (Dale); 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a great- great grandchild on the way; sister-in-law, Sharon Sheperd (Curt); and host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Drive, Mt. Washington, Kentucky.) with burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Donations can be made in honor of Mrs. Anna Bishop to the Alzheimer's Association.
