I remember Mr. Pasley as a great civics teacher at Senior High I, back in the 1970s. He co-taught civics in P.I.E. with Mr. Nelson. They were teaching the class together at the time of the Watergate scandal and the impeachment of Nixon. I and those who got to take civics at that time will probably never forget it. What a masterful job they did of bringing real world events into focus while teaching us about the political system we would be inheriting. Mr. Pasley was a serious intellectual and inspiring leader.
