FAIRVIEW, VA - Mrs. Alice Peters Horton, age 87, of Fairview, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Alice was born on May 22, 1937, to the late Elmer and Laura Osborne Peters, in Blackwater, Virginia.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Paul Horton; children, Kimberly Wallen (Jeff), Myra Judd (Marty), and Allyn Horton (Kristi); several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, April 27, 2025, at First Baptist Church Gate City (307 E Jackson Street, Gate City, VA, 24251) with Pastor Steve Collins and Pastor Nathan Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, prior to the service.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 28, 2025, at Horton Roller Cemetery, (10747 Fairview Road, Blackwater, VA, 24221) with Pastor Steve Collins and Pastor Jeff Wallen officiating.
