BLACKWATER, VA - Allie J. Bledsoe 91, of Blackwater, Virginia passed away on January 4, 2026 at her home.
Allie was the youngest of 9 children. She was born on October 23, 1934 to the late Ballard and Julie Robinette Bledsoe.
Allie loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed working in her flowers and doing word search puzzles. Also, she was a member of Burkes Union Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Allen T. Bledsoe, six brothers, and two sisters.
Allie is survived by her children Lena Ward (David), Mary Qualls (Carl), Debbie Gardner (Robin), John Bledsoe, and Tim Bledsoe, in addition to her children she is survived by her special nephews Jim Bledsoe (Linda) and Dennis Duncan, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Robinette Funeral Home in Blackwater. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with Elder David Parsons Officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
