SURGOINSVILLE - Angela Diana Horton, age 57 went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 7th, 2025. Angie was saved at Long Hollow Church when she was 12. Angie was a kind hearted and loving woman. If she loved you she would shower you in gifts. The world is little harder with her gone. It was a gift to be loved by her. Angie loved supporting her grandchildren in their sports and activities, she was their biggest supporter. Angie loved baseball and football, being a Tennessee Vols fan. She loved to help people and instilled that in her children. She had a hard life losing her dad at a young age. She made the most of it by smiling through the pain she carried. Angie worked at Hutchinson Sealing Systems for most of her adult life, moving up the ladder to shipping supervisor. She loved to read. There aren't enough words to describe how Angie lived her life and the love she gave to those around her. If you are lucky enough to have known her, you hold a precious memory of a beautiful soul. She was preceded in death by her parents Sue and Guy Hickman.
Angie left behind her husband of 40 years Doug Horton; their three children Hope Horton (Jonathan), Jamye Caldwell (Chadwick), Lane Horton (Jess); seven grandchildren Skyler, Gracie, Lakin, Wilo, Weston, Bailey and Brooklynn. 4 step-grandchildren Cameron, Cody, Destiny and Noah. All of whom she loved dearly. She has so many relatives and friends. Honorary Pallbearers: Lane Horton, Chadwick Caldwell, Jonathan Hendrix, Lakin Horton, Weston Horton, Noah Hollifield , Colton Birchfield, Matthew Wright, Nathan Helton and Atlas Manis.
Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 P.M., Thursday, August 14, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
