Ann Wright Dillon passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, in Pittsford, NY, at the age of 93. Born on March 4, 1932, in Kingsport, Tennessee, Ann was the daughter of James E and Ernestine (Chaney) Wright. She shared a loving marriage of 52 years with Peter Dillon. She was the proud mother of five children and stepchildren-Scott Dillon, Steve Dillon (Lisa), Julia Hayden (Craig), Susan Kelly (Mills), and Gail Davidson (Lee)-and the adored "Nonny" of ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Ann is survived by her brother, Hunter Wright, (Sylvia), of Kingsport, TN, along with nieces and nephews.
She had a successful career as a Certified Financial Planner, working with Chase Lincoln First Bank and Sage Rutty Financial Services. Her professional guidance helped countless clients and colleagues.
Ann approached life with curiosity and joy. She is fondly remembered for her gracious spirit, sharp intelligence, quick wit, and the warmth she extended to everyone.
A private funeral service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family thoughtfully suggests a Memorial gift to Goodwill Vision Enterprises, 451 S. Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 (www.goodwillfingerlakes.org.)
