CHURCH HILL - Anna Ruth Francisco, age 73, of Church Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2023. She was born in Kingsport to the late Onnie and Virginia Nunley. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Church Hill, where she loved on many, many children and their families over the years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Hood.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Benny; daughters, Ashley (Dann) Zehr & Amanda (Jeremy) Norris; grandchildren, Elijah (Lydia), Macklin, & Sophie Zehr and Will & Ezra Norris; sister, Betty Jane (Darryl) Castle; brother, Vern (Patsy) Nunley; brothers-in-law Pat Hood & Mike Freeman; sisters-in-law, Bettye Jo Creasey & Ann Duncan; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Church Hill. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastors Gary Gerhardt and Pat Hood officiating. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Church Hill Memory Gardens. All those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50 am.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to The Amy Hood Adoption Endowment Fund to give financial grants to families seeking to adopt a child. Donations can be made directly through the Tennessee Baptist Convention at www.amyhoodfund.org.

I Went TO CHURCH HILL GRADE SCHOOL and HIGH SCHOOL with BOWTH ANNA RUTH and BENNY FRANCISCO, bowth were my very good friends, it is so sad how many of our school friends have passed on, its very heartbreaking to see and hear about, GOD BLESS DEAR FRIENDS and BE WITH THEIR FAMILYS and friends during these sad times, but REMEMBER SHE IS IN THE LORDS HOUSE NOW...A MEN...SINCERELY CLYDE E HOUSEWRIGHT
