KINGSPORT - Barbara Ketron Lane, 97, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025.

She was life-long resident of Kingsport and retired as secretary from Vermont UMC with over 25 years of service.

Preceding Barbara in death are her husband, James Gilmer Lane; parents, Alfred Habe and Lethia Ketron; brothers, Paul, Junior, Jack, and Fred Ketron; sisters, Ruby and Janie Ketron.

Left to cherish Barbara's memory are her son Michael Lane (Dottie); grandchildren, Matthew Fletcher, Lori Fletcher, and Lesley Bolden (Chris); great-granddaughter, Sarah Boling (Peyton); sister, Shirley Peters; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Friday, August 29, 2025, in the Garden of Good Shepherd at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Jerry Hensley officiating.
