CHURCH HILL – Betty Lou Kincheloe, 79, went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2023.
Betty was a lifelong resident of Church Hill and was the owner/operator of Van's Plant Farm. She drove the school bus for Hawkins County School for 20 plus years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Betty attended McPheeters Bend Baptist Church when her health allowed it. She was so well known in the area and was especially loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Van Kincheloe; parents, Bob and Ruth Snapp.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Sharon Blanton (Shawn Randolph) and Debbie Morelock (John); son, Mark Kincheloe and wife, Melanie (all of Church Hill, TN); 6 grandchildren, Mark Kincheloe II (Molly), Melissa Kincheloe, Amber O'Laughlin (John), Haley Morelock, Ethan Bellamy (Avari), and Jessie Bellamy (Casey Hagood); 10 great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Heath Smith officiating. The burial will follow at McPheeters Bend Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Kincheloe II, Aaron Bradshaw, Ethan Bellamy, Casey Hagood, Tucker Sandidge, and Riley Sandidge. Honorary Pallbearers will be John O' Laughlin, David Sawyer, Jerry Tomlison, and David Austin.
