Betty Hart Mason and I are first cousins but grew up more like sisters. I shed only tears of joy for the wonderful memories we share. Betty and Dwight's first date was a double date with my husband (then boyfriend) and me. Mac and Dwight were Emory and Henry students. Not sure what I believe about "love at first sight", but there was an instant attraction between Betty and Dwight. I do believe Betty and Dwight, Mac and I (65 Years) had marriages blessed by God.
For the love Betty and I shared I am forever grateful.
