Beverly Ann Moore July 27, 2024
KINGSPORT - Beverly Ann Moore, 92, passed away early Saturday morning, July 27, 2024 at Encompass Rehabilitation, Kingsport. She was born in Asheville, NC, growing up in Biltmore, she attended the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and after graduation, she moved to Kingsport to begin work with Eastman Chemical Company. There she met and married H. Earl Moore. Beverly was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Ridgefield's Country Club. Beverly was an avid golfer and enjoyed square dancing. She also loved to play bridge at church, the Kingsport Senior Center or wherever a game was scheduled.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Grace Justice; and her husband, H. Earl Moore.
Survivors include daughter, Barbara Broadwater and husband, Ron; sons, David Moore, James Moore and wife, Jody; grandchildren, Grace and Maggie Moore; step-grandchildren, Michele Broadwater, Jonathan Broadwater and wife, Heather; step-great grandchildren, Savannah Blackman, C. J. Bennett, Kaedryn and Amryn Broadwater; several nieces, nephews in Middle Tennessee.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30am, Monday, August 5, 2024 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Johnny Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
The family would like to send special thanks to the doctors, nurses, nurse techs and therapists' staff at Encompass Rehabilitation for the care they provided Miss Beverly throughout her illness.
