KINGSPORT - Billie Ann (Crussell) Breeding, 79 of Kingsport, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior after a lengthy illness, Sunday, August 27, 2023. Billie was a graduate of Ketron High School in 1962. In 1961, she married her high school sweetheart and began work at American Saint-Gobain, where she retired in 2008, while continuing to work part time for AGC until 2022. Billie was a member of Kingsley United Methodist Church, serving in the choir and as the church's pianist for many years. She also served as the pianist for Herman United Methodist Church.
Billie was preceded in death by her son, Paul James Breeding; her parents, Bill and Opal Crussell; and brother, Michael Crussell.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James W. (Jack) Breeding; sons, Jeff (Lisa) Breeding, and Dan (Tina) Breeding; grandchildren, Jacob Breeding, Tanner Breeding, Taylor Breeding, Sydney Breeding and Jordan Breeding.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Kingsley United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kingsley United Methodist Church, 2828 Bloomingdale Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660.
