FALL BRANCH - Rev. Bob Fletcher, 80, of Fall Branch, TN went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at his residence.
He was born August 5, 1942, in Grundy, VA to the late Edward Fletcher and Mary Stiltner.
Bob was the proud father of three children and a loyal friend to many.
He was a committed Christian and an encouraging, uplifting voice for Jesus Christ as an ordained minister of the Gospel. Bob enjoyed ministering in various area nursing homes. He was a member of Freedom Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, Kingsport.
Bob was self-employed in the landscaping industry for several years and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Junior "Fred" Fletcher; sister, Jean Collette.
Those left to cherish Bob's Memory are his son, Matthew Fletcher; daughters, Lori Fletcher and Lesley Bolden (Chris); granddaughter, Sarah Knight; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Sam Murray and Rev. Jim Perkins officiating.
Military Graveside Honors conducted by The American Legion Hammond Post #3 and Gate City, VA Post #265 will be held 11:00 am Monday, June 5, 2023, at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Fletcher gave me my first Bible. I was a waitress, working as I went to college. He was very kind and made a point to spread God's Word. I am truly thankful for that gift. Sincerely, TLong
