Bobby Wallen Obituary
May 13, 2025
KINGSPORT - Bob Wallen, 83, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Sullivan County and raised in Hawkins County, where he graduated from Church Hill High School and played football.
Bob retired from Eastman in 1999 and remained active in various service organizations throughout his retirement. He was a faithful member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mamie Pruitt Wallen.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Brenda F. Wallen; his children, Brent Wallen (Kristy) and Brian Wallen (Holly); grandchildren, Hayden Wallen, McKenzie Wallen, Tyler Flack (Ryan), and Grant Wallen (Madi); great-grandson, Declan Flack; sister, Betty Sue Hagan; brother, Benny P. Wallen (Carol); and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service details will be announced at a later date.
