KINGSPORT - Bobbye Lou Helton 93, of Kingsport departed this life on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was born in Calvin, KY to the late Walter and Cleo Carmony. She was a graduate of Loyall High School in the class of 1949 where she was a cheerleader. Bobbye retired from Belk in Kingsport after over 35 years of service. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Bobbye was a devoted member of First Christian Church in Kingsport. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Helton; brother, Jerry Carmony; infant brothers, Jimmy and Jackie Carmony.

Survivors include her daughters, Melanie Patrick; Cynthia Raines and husband Kent, and Alison Harrison and husband Eric; grandchildren, Ashley DeFord and husband Brad, Lindsey Patrick, Candace Brown, Mary Crowder and husband Will, Jacob Harrison, and Caleb Harrison; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Karlie, Parker, Noah, Benjamin, Sienna, and Conley; great-great-grandchildren, Tucker, Cyrus, and one on the way; sister, Patricia Carmony; niece, Gina Smith; nephew, Charles Carmony; faithful friend, Jeff Isaacs; special caregiver, Suzanne Brumfield; along with a host of friends and extended family.

A private graveside service was held at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
