Bonnie Eaton Obituary

KINGSPORT - Bonnie Juanita "Niter" Eaton 88, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 18, 2024. She was born in Greene County, TN to the late John and Bonnie Brockwell. Bonnie attended Fordtown Baptist Church when her health permitted after which she watched Dr. Charles Stanley every Sunday Morning. She was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt. She was a devoted caregiver to both her late husband as well as many patients at area nursing homes. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lee Eaton and 11 siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Weems; grandson, Joseph Nelson; granddaughter, Angela Hyatt (Clayton Osborne); great-grandsons, Dalton Hyatt (Makayla Hurd), Austin Osborne, and Jackson Nelson; great-great grandson, Brantley Hyatt; along with a host of friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Richard Isaacs officiating.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50am.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport is serving the Eaton family.
