ROGERSVILLE - Brenda Sue Elliott, age 73, of Rogersville, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, surrounded by family after a period of declining health. She was born and raised in the Pressman's Home Community. She was a member of Spires Chapel Baptist Church. She worked at Kingsport Press Hawkins County until its closing. Brenda loved country music, spending time with family and friends, and her beloved dog.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LueAllen and Ann Klepper Cobb; brother, Tommy Cobb; husband, Bruce Elliott; father of her children, Eddy Cradic.
She is survived by her children, Eric (Sheilah) Cradic, Daniel Cradic; grandson, Connor Cradic; brother, David (Pat) Cobb; her beloved dog, Princess; niece, Kim (Kelsie) Price; great-nephew, Clay (Samantha) Price; aunt, Evelyn "Zeb" Williams, special cousins, Sherry Rayfield, Jerry And Diane Cobb; sister-in-law, Sharon Mauk; childhood friend, Satch Barker; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers at The Village at Allandale (Virginia's Garden) and Gentiva Hospice.
Her body will lie in state from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 21, 2023, in Highland Cemetery with Rev.
