Carole Hubble Obituary

July 23, 2025
KINGSPORT - Carole K. Hubble, 84, of Kingsport passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at her residence. Born on August 3, 1940 to the late Rev. Joe T. and Mrs. June M. Keeble. She was a graduate of Berea College with a B.S. in nursing. Carole worked in various capacities in nursing and was instrumental in starting the Hospice program at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a member at Vermont United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing piano for church related activities for many years at Ketron Memorial UMC.
Carole was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Oxley; her second husband, Robert (Bob) Hubble; grandson, Ben Hubble; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Michael Rawlings.
Survivors include her nephew, Christopher Rawlings; sons, Gary and Becky Hubble, Danny and Teresa Hubble; grandchildren, Christy and Brian Beane, Jessica and Mike Dockery, Jennifer Hubble Brown and husband Jason; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at East Lawn Memorial Park.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at Vermont United Methodist Church with Rev. Kim Isley-Selby officiating. The family will receive friends following this service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berea College, CPO 2216, Berea, KY 40404 or Holston United Methodist Home for Children, P.O. Box 188, Greeneville, TN 37744.

Gary and Danny, I´m so sorry to learn of Carol´s passing. God gave Carol the gift of music. I was always mesmerized at her playing at Ketron Memorial. She was a special lady.

I hate to hear about Carol. She was such a sweet person. I enjoyed camping with her for years. My girls loved her.

We were all saddened as well as stunned to hear of Carole´s sudden passing. She has been a blessed addition to Vermont in this last two plus years. She was a staunch lifelong United Methodist Christian. She will be missed.
