SURGOINSVILLE – Craig Barnette, 52, passed away on Monday, June 19. 2023.
Craig was born in Kingsport, TN on September 25, 1970. He was a family man and loved spending time with them especially all his grandkids. Craig enjoyed working on cars and being outside doing landscaping. He was a loving husband, father, and papaw.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Christian.
He is survived by wife, Debbie Thurman; children, Dustin Crawford (Ashley), Jasmine Thurman, Travis Barnette (Carla), and Megan Barnette (Dakota Bradshaw); mother, Ethel Barnette; grandchildren, Trey, Kailey, Lilly, Abby, Elly, Chelsea, Malcolm, Marley, Cora, Oakley, Delilah, Dixie, Atlas, Destiny, Harlen, and a little grandson on the way; sisters, Cindy Flanigan, and Pam Dalton; brother, Billy Benton; best friend and cousin, Crockett; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, 25, 2023 at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow at Benton Cemetery in Rogersville, TN. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
