KINGSPORT - Cynthia Christian, 25, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
Cynthia was born in Kingsport, TN on December 20, 1998. She was the oldest of the three Christian sisters. She graduated from Sullivan North High School, where she was a part of the choir and a member of the ROTC. Cynthia was a proud member of the Kingsport Police department's Explorer program. She also, was a student at North East State Community College. Cynthia was a warm and free spirit who had a love for art, music, loved the art of cosmetology and animals. She loved attending concerts to see some of her favorite bands, specifically Breaking Benjamin and Bush. She was a very loving and kind person who often put others before herself.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her grandfather, Johnny Herbert, and great-grandmothers, Bertha Forbes and Velma Christian.
She is survived by her parents, Samuel and Sarah Christian; sisters, Kristy and Ashley; grandmothers, Brenda Baker and Sharon Herbert; family friend, Betty Coates; uncles Simon Baker and Doug Herbert; and various other family members.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers on Saturday, March the 9th from 4pm until 6pm.
