SPANISH FORT, AL - David Baldock, aged 72, passed away on July 13, 2024, in Spanish Fort, AL. Born on April 7, 1952, David led a fulfilling life marked by his dedication to his family, career, and community.
David graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School, where he was an active member of the football team, demonstrating early on his team spirit and leadership qualities. He furthered his education at the University of Tennessee, earning a Bachelor of Science in Transportation. This foundation paved the way for a successful career as an Account Manager at AAA Cooper Transportation, where he was respected for his professionalism and work ethic.
A sports enthusiast, David enjoyed following University of Tennessee and Dobyns-Bennett sports, often sharing this passion with friends and family, which further enriched his community ties.
David was a man of faith, having been a former member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church and a current member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. His commitment to his faith community was evident in his active participation and support.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Baldock; son, John Baldock; and brother, Edd Baldock. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Virginia Baldock.
