ROGERSVILLE - David F. Duncan, age 60, of Rogersville, passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2025.

David was born to Rita and Leon Duncan on May 8, 1964. He graduated from Cherokee High School. He married the love of his life, Monique Duncan on May 1, 2004 in Gatlinburg, TN. He was currently employed at Eastman Chemical Company and has been for the past 35 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed visiting Germany and partaking in the German culture of beer and currywurst. He was an avid Tennessee and Redskins football fan. He was a kind and generous soul who was kind to everyone that he came in contact with.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rita Lawson and Leon Duncan; uncles, Luke Matthews and Verlin Duncan; aunt, Reba Wilson; and special aunt, Tonto from Germany.

He is survived by his wife, Monique Duncan; step-son, Brandon Church of Florida; grandson, Michael Suther and his little brother, Dawson both of North Carolina; uncles, Cecil Matthews and Sturgill Matthews both of Rogersville; several cousins and many friends; and THE DAMN CATS (Lewis, Izzy, and Joie).

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Tim Seaton officiating. Graveside service will follow in McKinney Cemetery.
