Debra Faust Dougherty

June 6, 1956 -

June 29, 2025

GATE CITY, VA - Debra Faust Dougherty, 69, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend went to her Heavenly home on June 29, 2025. She was born on June 6, 1956 to the late Ronald and Joanne Faust. Debra's heart for service touched the lives of her family, friends, and countless others.

Debra owned and operated Campus Drive-In for many years where she made lifelong friends within the community. She was an active member of Holston View Methodist Church where she proudly served on the "kitchen crew" each Sunday morning. At home, Debra was a beacon of unconditional love and support for her husband, children, and grandchild. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was always there to offer wisdom, humor, and big hugs for everyone. Debra leaves behind a legacy of love and servanthood.

Debra is survived by her husband of 49 years, Allen Dougherty, daughter Lisa Meade and husband Andy, daughter Sara Beth Johnson and husband Luke, and the greatest joy of her life, grandson Brett Baker and his fiancée Carly Quillen. She is also survived by her brother David Faust and wife Elaine, brother Dennis Faust, and sister Amy Kite and husband Jerame and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Debra will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Holston View Methodist Church, 174 Church St, Weber City, VA. Visitation will be from 5-7 with the service immediately following with Pastor Chuck Griffin officiating.

Flowers may be delivered to the church after 9:00 am Thursday.
