Dennie Crawford Obituary
KINGSPORT - Dennie Crawford, 82, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Life Care Center of Gray.
He was born May 26, 1940, in Sullivan County, TN to the late Bud and Sally Jarrett Crawford.
Dennie was a kind and jovial man who was a generous son, husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He enjoyed horses, yard work and being outdoors.
Dennie attended the Baptist church and worked in the construction industry for thirty years.
In addition to his parents, Dennie was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Crawford; sons, Timmy Crawford and Jeff Crawford; sister, Essie Langrel.
Those left to cherish Dennie's memory are his stepson, Jason Wall; special grandson, Eli Wall; sisters, Pat Summey, Bessie Quesenberry, Barbara Calhoun (George)and Jennie Gilliam (Harold); brother, David Crawford (Regina); special niece, Eleanor Shannon; several other nieces and nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Phil Kestner officiating.
Entombment Service will follow at 3:00 pm in Mausoleum IV at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Friends may also call any time at the residence of Dennie's sister, Pat Summey.
