Don Harold LaFerney December 12, 1932 - August 31, 2024
KINGSPORT - Don Harold LaFerney, Sr., 91, of Kingsport, TN died in his sleep Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Don was born December 12,1932, in Rector, Arkansas to the late Louie Monroe LaFerney and Fannie Purcell LaFerney.
He was a lifelong churchman, Founder of LaFerney, Inc. Roofing, and member of Civitan.
He is survived by his wife, E. Jean LaFerney; children, Donna Jean LaFerney Wheatley,
Carol Sue LaFerney Haworth, David Neal LaFerney, Don Harold LaFerney, Jr.; and eleven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Heritage First Church of God, 470 Rock Springs Rd, Kingsport, TN 37663.
A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Steve Tilley officiating.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Christus Garden. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:45 am.
