ROGERSVILLE - Eleanore Trent Davis, age 97, of Rogersville, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at her home following a brief illness. She was a member of Rogersville Presbyterian Church and served as past deacon, elder, and church secretary. Eleanore was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Joe Thomas Davis, parents, Charlie C. and Beatrice Farris Trent.
She is survived by foster son, Donny R. Lambdin and wife Diana of Rogersville, niece Margaret Davis Richardson of Mosheim, and cousin Sara Horner of Whitesburg.
Mrs. Davis requested a graveside service only, which will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at McKinney Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Norris officiating. Those who wish to attend the service should be at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m.
