GATE CITY, VA - Elizabeth "Tootie" Snavely, age 71, of Gate City, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Ina Owens; and brother, Robert Owens,
She is survived by her daughter, Kathi Mohler (Wes); 3 grandchildren, Henry Mohler, Dakota Burnette and Savana Mohler (Makayla); brother, Dennis "Bud" Owens (Bonnie); niece, Sherry Owens; nephew, Robert Owens; cousins and caretakers, Jennifer Shelton and Mary Williams (Larry); and a host of friends and extended family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City, VA, with Pastor Rick Begley officiating. Friends and family may gather for the service beginning at 5:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later time.
